KabarJawa.com – Alleged irregularities in levy tickets for coastal tourist areas in Gunungkidul Regency became public attention after a tourist discovered the same transaction times on two vehicle tickets that were known to enter the tourist area at different times.

This discovery occurred when a group of tourists visited the Drini Beach and Sadranan Beach areas in the early hours of Sunday (31/5/2026).

The large difference in vehicle arrival times, but recorded at the same transaction hours, raises questions regarding the accuracy of the tourist levy recording system used in the field.

The group came in three vehicles

Based on the information gathered, the group of tourists used one private car and two tourist buses to go to the south coast tourist area of Gunungkidul.

They entered the levy area around 04.30 to 05.00 WIB. But the journey did not take place at the same time.

One of the buses was said to have lagged behind the group and only arrived about an hour after the other vehicles entered the tourist area.

This time difference later became the basis for allegations of data discrepancies on the retribution tickets.

Two Bus Tickets Listed at the Same Time

The irregularities began to be revealed when the entire group gathered at the tourist location and compared the tickets received from each vehicle.

That’s when it was discovered that two tickets from different vehicles listed identical transaction times.

From the ticket documentation in circulation, both were printed with the same transaction time, namely May 31 2026 at 04.14.40 WIB.

In fact, according to the group’s statement, the two vehicles entered through the levy post at quite different times.

These findings immediately raised question marks among tourists.

Whether there was a system error, a recording error, or there were other factors that caused the printed transaction times to be the same is still an unanswered question.

Efforts to clarify have not yet received an explanation

Feeling there was a discrepancy, tourists then tried to ask for an explanation directly on the way home.

They went to the levy post to clarify the findings.

However, the officer on duty at that time had changed so he could not provide information regarding the transactions that occurred in the early hours of the morning.

Tourists are also said to have tried to contact related parties, including the Tourism Service office number and the officers who were allegedly on duty when the incident took place.

Until then, they admitted that they had not received an adequate explanation regarding the differences in the data.

This condition makes the discussion about the transparency of the tourism levy system increasingly popular among the public.

Observers Request Comprehensive Audit and Evaluation

This case also received attention from the former chairman of the Gunungkidul DPRD and public policy observer, Ratno Pintoyo.

According to Ratno, if this allegation is proven to be true, then the issue should not be considered trivial because it relates to regional revenue management and public trust.

He believes that the tourism levy system must operate in a transparent, accountable and accountable manner.

Transaction data discrepancies, no matter how small, need to be investigated thoroughly so as not to give rise to wider speculation.

Urge Audit of Retribution System

Ratno asked the Gunungkidul Tourism Department to immediately carry out an investigation into this allegation.

He also pushed for an audit of the electronic ticket system used in coastal tourist areas.

Several aspects that are considered to need to be evaluated include:

  • Accuracy of the transaction time recording system.
  • Performance of electronic ticket printing devices.
  • Operational procedures for field officers.
  • Retribution transaction monitoring system.
  • Operational standards for officers on duty from night to early morning.

According to him, it is important to carry out an evaluation to ensure that all levy transactions are recorded correctly and can be verified.

It is feared that it will have an impact on the tourist image of Gunungkidul

Furthermore, Ratno reminded that delays in official explanations had the potential to give rise to negative perceptions among the public.

In fact, the tourism sector is one of the economic backbones of Gunungkidul Regency.

If a system error is found, repairs need to be carried out immediately. However, if there is a violation of procedures or negligence by officers, then enforcement steps must be implemented in accordance with applicable regulations.

The Tourism Department has not yet provided an official explanation

Until the news was compiled, the Gunungkidul Regency Tourism Office had not provided an official statement regarding the alleged irregularity in the timing of the transaction on the levy tickets.

Confirmation efforts are still ongoing in order to obtain a balanced explanation from the authorities.

Meanwhile, the public is waiting for the results of investigations carried out by the regional government. Transparency and openness of information is considered to be the key to answering various questions that arise while maintaining tourist trust in the management of leading tourist destinations in Gunungkidul.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
