KabarJawa.com — Tourist visits to Pindul Cave in Gunungkidul Regency recorded no increase during the long Eid 2026 holiday.

This condition is inversely proportional to the significant increase in tourists in the south coast area.

Chairman of BUMDes Pindul Maju Mandiri, Suryanto, said that the number of visitors during the three holidays, from 20 to 22 March 2026, only reached 747 people.

“There is no improvement, just normal guests,” he said.

Visits are Lower than the Previous Period

This number is far below previous achievements, where Pindul Cave once recorded more than 1,000 visitors in one day during the holiday period.

This condition shows a decrease in tourist interest in activity-based tourist destinations such as cave tubing in Pindul Cave.

Surge in Tourists in Beach Areas

Meanwhile, the beach area in Gunungkidul experienced a significant increase in visits.

Data shows the number of tourists reached 11,926 people on March 20 2026, increasing to 25,029 people on March 21 2026.

The peak occurred on March 22 2026 with the number of visits reaching 52,655 tourists.

Secretary of the Gunungkidul Tourism Office, Eko Nur Cahyo, said that the surge was dominated by beach tourism.

“This shows that tourist interest in Gunungkidul remains high, especially beach tourism,” he said.

Traffic congestion also occurred on a number of routes to the beach, including vehicle queues of up to around 3 kilometers on the route to Drini Beach.

Impact on Business Actors

Increased visits to coastal areas have a positive impact on local business actors.

Food traders, tourism service providers and micro businesses experience increased activity during the Eid holiday.

However, this condition is not felt evenly by all tourist destinations in Gunungkidul.

Changes in Traveler Preferences

The decline in visits to Pindul Cave is thought to be influenced by changes in tourist preferences.

Open destinations such as beaches with easier access and visual appeal are the main choice.

Meanwhile, experience-based tourism such as cave trekking requires a longer time and process.

Evaluation of Tourism Management

This condition is a concern for tourism managers to evaluate and develop strategies to increase visitor interest again.

Tourist visits in Gunungkidul are expected to continue to be dynamic during the Eid holiday period.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
