Javanese news -The government through the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) has set a 13th salary disbursement schedule for Civil Servants (PNS), TNI/Polri, along with retirees. The following is complete information.

The government returns to its commitment to respect the abduction of the country who has completed the time of its devotees.

This year, the 13th salary for the retired Civil Servants (PNS) will begin to be disbursed on June 2, 2025. This was officially conveyed by PT Taspen (Persero) as an institution in charge of channeling pension funds.

Taspen’s Corporate Secretary, Henra, emphasized that the process of disbursing the 13th salary of this year did not require additional procedures from retirees.

They do not need to submit an application or re -authentication process, because all payments will be made automatically based on existing data. This policy is in line with Government Regulation (PP) No. 11 of 2025 concerning the granting of thirteen salaries to pension recipients and allowances in 2025.

Details of components and 13th salary payment mechanisms

The 13th salary received by retirees is calculated based on several income components received in May 2025. These components include basic pensions, family allowances, food allowances, and other additional income.

Here are some important provisions related to payment of the 13th salary for retirees:

  1. There are no non-tax pieces
    The 13th salary payment will not be subject to discounts for contributions or pension loans. However, the fixed income tax deduction applies according to the applicable laws and regulations.
  2. New retirees still receive the 13th salary
    Those who began to receive pension after May 1, 2025 will still receive the 13th salary starting June 2, 2025.
  3. Double recipients get two payments
    For retirees who receive pension in their own names and as recipients of widow/widowed pension, the 13th salary will be given to both.
  4. Payment adjustment based on TMT
    • For those who have TMT (starting from) May 1, 2025, payments are made by Taspen.
    • As for TMT 1 June 2025, payments are made through their respective work units.

Legal basis and payment time

All of these provisions refer to the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 23 of 2025. In the regulation, it is stated that the payment of the 13th salary is the fastest in June 2025. If administrative obstacles occur, the disbursement can still be carried out after that month, as regulated in Article 15 paragraph 2.

However, not all civil servants are entitled to receive the 13th salary. In Article 8 PMK No. 23 of 2025 explained that the 13th salary was not given to:

  • Officers who are on leave outside the responsibility of the state.
  • Employees are being assigned outside of government agencies, both at home and abroad, if the payroll is borne by the agency of the assignment.

The 13th salary that will be received by retirees of civil servants has been determined in detail based on the last position and educational background and tenure. The following details based on the category:

1. Leaders and members of the non -structural institution

  • Chair/Head: Rp31,474,800
  • Deputy Chair/Deputy Head: Rp29,665,400
  • Secretary: Rp28,104,300
  • Members: Rp28,104,300

2. Officials with financial rights equivalent to echelon

  • Echelon I / Main High Leaders / Middle School: Rp24,886,200
  • Echelon II / Pratama High Leadership: Rp19,514,800
  • Echelon III / Administrator: Rp13,842,300
  • Echelon IV / Supervisor: Rp10,612,900

3. Non-ASN Employees in Government Agencies & Nonstructural Institutions

The 13th salary for this category is calculated based on long-term and long-term education:

Elementary/SMP ​​Education/equivalent

  • ≤10 years: Rp4,285,200
  • 11-20 years: Rp4,639,300
  • 20 years: Rp5,052,600

SMA/D1/equivalent education

  • ≤10 years: Rp4,907,700
  • 11-20 years: Rp5,347,400
  • 20 years: Rp5,861,500

Education D2/D3/equivalent

  • ≤10 years: Rp5,488,500
  • 11-20 years: Rp5,966,100
  • 20 years: Rp6,524,200

S1/D4/equivalent education

  • ≤10 years: Rp6,591,000
  • 11-20 years: IDR 7,160,500
  • 20 years: IDR 7,825,800

S2/S3/equivalent education

  • ≤10 years: Rp7,764,100
  • 11-20 years: Rp8,357,500
  • 20 years: Rp9,050,500

Form of appreciation from the country

Through this policy, the government hopes that the 13th salary can be a tangible form of appreciation for the dedication of retirees in serving the state.

“This payment reflects the state appreciation of the contribution of retirees, as well as being one of the tangible forms of the presence of the state in ensuring the sustainability of income for ASN who has completed its tenure,” Henra explained, representing Taspen.

With the disbursement of this 13th salary, it is hoped that retirees can obtain concrete benefits that support their welfare, while strengthening public trust in the government’s attention to the state civil apparatus, even after their term of time is over.
