Revenue of the UN Yogyakarta City is double the target, residents are enthusiastic about paying taxes

KABARJAWA-The Yogyakarta City Government succeeded in recording the revenue of the Urban Rural Land and Rural Building Tax (PBB-P2) which exceeded the target doubled in the PBB-P2 payment week, Wednesday (6/25/2025).

The activity is part of the 78th anniversary of the Yogyakarta City Government and draws the attention of hundreds of taxpayers who packed the city hall.

The Yogyakarta City Government actively initiated this activity as a form of direct service to the community in terms of ease of tax payments.

The Head of the Yogyakarta City Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), Raden Roro Andarini, expressed his pride in the extraordinary achievements of this activity. It held this payment week for the second time after last May.

Andarini said that his party targeted revenues of Rp 10 billion in this payment week activity. He said the Yogyakarta City Government had invited 600 taxpayers selected based on the track record of compliance and contributing to PAD.

Until the end of May 2025, the Yogyakarta City Government recorded the realization of PBB-P2 revenue reaching around Rp53 billion or 40.9 percent of the annual target of Rp130 ​​billion. The achievement shows that the people of Yogyakarta actively contribute to supporting regional development through taxes.
