One of them is the Head of the West Java Provincial Education Office, Purwantowhich openly responded to the incident. He regretted the action, mainly because it occurred in the school environment that should be a place to educate and shape the character of children.

According to Purwanto, the movement exhibited by male students was considered to be out of the appropriateness limits in the context of the norms of the community. He considered that such behavior should be straightened by adults, both from the teacher and parents. He stressed the importance of the role of educators in directing children to understand the values ​​of propriety prevailing in the community.

“When viewed in terms of propriety, elementary school children who dance in such a style are clearly beyond the reasonable limits. This should be the responsibility of adults, teachers, or parents to guide and correct,” Purwanto said.

Furthermore, he highlighted the fact that the activity actually took place with the enthusiasm of the teachers who participated.
