Pos Indonesia shows respect and strengthen synergy with DIY

KABARJAWA – PT Pos Indonesia officially launched a special edition of Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X. This stamps were present as a form of deep respect to the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta who was also the King of the Yogyakarta Palace.

The moment of this launch took place full of solemn in Gedhong Wilis, Kepatihan Complex, Yogyakarta, on Monday, June 23, 2025.

PT Pos Indonesia Regional Executive Vice President IV, Agus Aribowo, directly handed over the stamps to Sri Sultan HB X.

In his statement, Agus emphasized that the stamps were a type of prism-a private person that could be printed specifically for honorable figures.

“We print this prism stamp as a symbol of our respect for Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X for his dedication to Yogyakarta and closely cooperation with Pos Indonesia. This stamp, although it is a collection, is still original and valid in sending letters,” Agus said.

Pos Indonesia scored this Sri Sultan HB X picture stamp in limited quantities and did not sell freely on the market. This stamp is not only a postal tool, but also as a collection item that has a high historical and cultural value.

Agus also revealed that this series included stamps with the picture of the Yogyakarta Palace. Each stamp has a nominal value of Rp. 5,000 and is printed exclusively.

The goal is not just a use, but as a form of visual documentation of the existence of Yogyakarta culture and Sri Sultan’s leadership.

“We print it limited because stamps like this are more suitable for collectors or as typical souvenirs. But people can still have it if they are interested, because their functions are not deleted,” he said.

Synergy of PT Pos Indonesia and the Regional Government of DIY

More than just the launch of the stamps, the meeting was also a place to strengthen the cooperation between PT Pos Indonesia and the Regional Government of DIY.

Agus asserted that the synergy that had been established for the past five years through the Sibakul program – the Local MSME Empowerment Platform – became a concrete proof of useful collaboration.

“We have used the PT Pos Indonesia network to support DIY MSMEs through Sibakul. This cooperation goes very well. Therefore, we want to expand its synergy form to be more broadly impact on the community,” Agus explained.

Sri Sultan HB X welcomed the idea. During the meeting, the Sultan expressed his appreciation for the contribution of PT Pos Indonesia to strengthen the people’s economy in DIY. He hopes that the cooperation that has been running can continue to develop over time.

“Sri Sultan also expressed his hope that this synergy does not stop here. He wants cooperation to develop to other sectors that are relevant to Pos Indonesia competencies and the needs of the DIY community,” said Agus.

The step of PT Pos Indonesia is not only a symbol of respect, but also shows the sincere intention of the state -owned company to remain relevant, cultured, and social impact amidst the challenges of digitalization that continues to advance.
