KABARJAWA – Yogyakarta Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNU) successfully held Unu Jogja Career Days 2025, a two -day career exhibition that presented thousands of employment opportunities and internships from various industrial sectors.
This event took place on 5-6 July 2025 at the Jogja UNU Campus and was attended by more than 5,000 participants from various universities in Yogyakarta to outside the region.
This activity is a real effort to Unu Jogja in bridging the world of education with industrial needs. More than 33 national and multinational companies are present opening opportunities for direct recruitment for students, alumni, and general job seekers.

Daily Implementer (PLH) of Unu Jogja Chancellor, Suhadi Cholil, stressed that Career Days 2025 is a form of concrete campus commitment in building a bridge between the development of young talents and the needs of the work industry.
“Career Days 2025 is our concrete step to bridge the needs of industry with the potential of students, graduates, and the wider community,” he said.
Unu Jogja, said Suhadi, has collaborated with hundreds of institutions to ensure that graduates have relevant competencies and are ready to work. The campus is also open to further collaboration with industrial partners who attended this event.
Participants are enthusiastic
Unu Jogja’s Employability Director, Nurhadi, revealed that the enthusiasm of the participants was very high. Around 5,000 participants are registered to participate in various activities, ranging from company presentations, career clinics, trial psychological tests, to the simulation of the Leaderless Group Discussion titled Battle of Destiny.
“In these two days, the company can get the best talent recruitment. Through collaboration with Unu Jogja, we can go together,” Nurhadi said.
The companies present included the financial and banking sectors, technology and communication, manufacturing, media, philanthropy, education, hospitality, to health.
The presence of various sectors opens up broad opportunities for participants to find career paths that are in accordance with their interests and competencies.
GEM INDONESIA and UNU Jogja Present Future Metallurgical Study Program
One of the strategic companies that participated was Gem In Indonesia (PT QMB New Energy Materials), a global company from China that focused on green energy and electronic recycling.
GEM Indonesia’s representative, Ahmad Hanif, stated that cooperation with Unu Jogja was included in the opening plan of the Metallurgical Engineering Study Program and the Faculty of Metallurgical Faculty. They will focus on urban mining or recycling from electronic waste.
“This collaboration is a long -term cooperation model between campus and industry. Large careers can start from small opportunities such as present in Career Days,” said Hanif.
BTPN Syariah Supports Women’s Talent Empowerment
Support also came from BTPN Syariah, a famous Islamic bank focused on empowering women in the Ultramikro sector.
According to Vini Daru Perdana, Head of Days Activation and Partnership of BTPN Syariah, this event is a forum for capturing quality talents while strengthening the collaboration that has been established with Unu Jogja.
“We have worked together in the student internship program. Through this career days, we want to introduce ourselves as a strategic partner of Unu Jogja and of course looking for the best talents,” said Vini.

In addition to the job market, Unu Jogja also held a final National Student Business Competition (NASBUC) as part of Career Days 2025.
This competition was attended by 292 teams from 120 campuses throughout Indonesia. This makes it one of the biggest student business events this year.
With a complete series of events, Unu Jogja Career Days 2025 is not only a place for work recruitment.
However, this is also a space for collaboration, innovation and development of young talents to build a more competitive future of Indonesia.
