Mas-Mas Sailing finally became a suspect, the police were resistant to the persecutors of Driver Shopeefood Sleman

KABARJAWA – The police finally set Takbirdha Tsalasiwi Wartyana as a suspect in a case of persecution of Shopeefood courier.

Takbirdha, who worked daily in the shipping sector, held acts of violence on Friday, July 5, 2025 at the Bantulan Hamlet, Sidoarum Village, when Godean, Sleman Regency.

The video that recorded the seconds of the persecution was viral on social media since Saturday morning. The video shows Takbirdha snapped and hit the Shopeefood driver who delivered a drink order to his house.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Sleman Police, AKP Agha Ari Septyan, ensured the determination of the status of the suspect. The police examined Takbirdha after receiving a report of persecution from the Shopeefood driver.

“We have named Takbirdha as a suspect in this persecution case,” said AKP Agha Sunday, July 6, 2025.

The police immediately detained takbirdha after the examination process was completed. AKP Agha emphasized that the police took firm action against the perpetrators of violence.

“We have arrested the suspect of persecution to the Shopeefood driver,” he said.

Two couriers became suspects in riots

The police also named two Shopeefood couriers as suspects in the destruction of the Godean Police Patrol.

The online driver mass raged on Friday night until early Saturday morning as a form of protest against takbirdha actions. They went to Takbirdha’s house and demanded an apology.

AKP Agha said the riot caused damage to takbirdha house facilities. The masses damaged the CCTV camera and the air conditioning unit (AC) in the house. The masses even damaged the patrol car owned by the Godean Police Station that was on guard at the location.

“For the case of the destruction of a patrol car, we have named two suspects,” said AKP Agha.

He asserted that investigators were still exploring the case and did not rule out the possibility of new suspects.

“Investigations are still being developed,” he said.
