KabarJawa.com – PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) is expanding services for customers through the Boarding Pass Through Value (BPTV) program.

This program allows passengers to enjoy various promos and discounts at a number of partner merchants just by showing their boarding pass.

Boarding passes now not only function as proof of travel, but can also be used to get discounts ranging from 10 to 50 percent at hundreds of KAI partners in various big cities.

Partners involved include hotels, restaurants, tourist attractions, health services and shopping centers.

The BPTV program was born from cross-sector collaboration between KAI and strategic partners. Through this program, customers can show their physical boarding pass or e-boarding pass via the Access by KAI application to get a discount according to the promo conditions of each merchant.

Public Relations Manager for Regional Operations 6 (Daop 6) Yogyakarta, Feni Novida Saragih, said that this program was a form of appreciation for customers.

“Boarding passes are not only proof of travel, but can also be used to get various benefits from our various partners,” said Feni.

He added that this program is a concrete step for KAI in strengthening cross-sector collaboration and expanding the benefits of traveling using public transportation.

“KAI wants to ensure that every customer journey has a positive impact, not only while on the train, but also after the trip is finished,” he explained.

Ease of Access to Promotion Information

To enjoy the promo, customers simply access the list of participating merchants via the official KAI website or the Access by KAI application in the “Promo” menu.

When making a transaction, the boarding pass or booking code can be shown to the merchant officer to obtain the applicable discount.

The BPTV program is also in line with the spirit of “KAI Serves More” which is part of the 80th anniversary of KAI’s journey. The company continues to strive to provide innovative, inclusive and customer satisfaction-oriented services.

“This BPTV program is a manifestation of our enthusiasm in providing added value to every customer. We want every experience with Kai to leave a positive and lasting impression,” concluded Feni.

Through the presence of BPTV, Kai not only transports passengers from one city to another, but also provides a more valuable travel experience.

This program is expected to further strengthen public interest in rail transportation as a mode of transportation that is efficient, comfortable and provides additional benefits for customers.
