PIK-R PRABAKTI SMAN 1 LIDAH BEJUS 5 NATIONAL NATIONAL, EVIDENCE OF THE YOUNG GENERATION

KABARJAWA-Youth Information and Counseling Center (PIK-R) Prabakti SMA Negeri 1 Lendah succeeded in carving a proud achievement by being nominated for the top five of the national national segmentation competition in the national level of 2025.

Kulon Progo Regent, Agung Setyawan expressed his pride and gratitude when receiving a visit from the Prabakti PIK-R Team in the Menoreh Meeting Room, the Kulon Progo Regency Government Complex, Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

The Regent Agung gave the highest appreciation to the entire Prabakti PIK-R team. He asserted that active involvement in extracurricular activities like this became a different difference in the life of the younger generation.

“I strongly support all the activities of children who work through extracurricular activities. This is a differentiator that creates additional achievements as well as valuable life experiences. This noble experience will be an important provision, both when they continue their higher education and when plunging directly into the community,” said Agung.

Furthermore, Agung stressed the importance of strong mentality in each competition. He encouraged students to appear confident and maximize their potential.

“Maturnuwun, just keep going. Kudu Luweh Kendel, must be more courageous in expressing abilities. The most important thing is beliefs, good intentions, true intentions, learning seriously, and ready to face whatever the outcome. Remember, win or lose is only part of the process, not the final goal. Good luck and hopefully the knowledge is useful,” Agung’s message with warmth.

Hope to become a champion and inspiration for other schools

With the success of PIK-R Prabakti penetrating the top five nationally, Kulon Progo increasingly established itself as a serious region that supports the character building and quality of the younger generation.

Strong cross -sectoral support also shows that collaboration between schools, the government, and the community is the key to the success of the youth development program.

The Principal of SMAN 1 Lendah School, Tri Lestari, expressed his gratitude for the full support that had been given to his students to be able to compete at the national level. He asserted that PIK-R is not just an extracurricular activity, but also a social learning forum that directly touches the life of adolescents.

“We guide children to understand the dynamics of adolescent development, the problems they face, and equip them into peer counselors. They not only learn in theory, but also practice directly the values ​​of empathy, communication, and social responsibility,” said Tri Lestari with enthusiasm.

Meanwhile, Chairman of PIK-R Prabakti SMAN 1 Lendah, Winna Nur Aira Tsaqif, expressed great hopes ahead of the national verification stage which will be held on June 20, 2025.

Winna stated his team’s determination to perform optimally and carry the good name of Kulon Progo in the national arena.

“We ask for prayers and support so that we are given smoothness in the competition later. We want to bring the good name of the school, district, even provinces at the national level with enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility,” said Winna hopefully.
