Short Friday Sermon Text on the Theme of the Hajj Pilgrimage

Sermon I

Praise be to Allah who has bestowed the blessings of faith and Islam on us. May shalawat and greetings be upon our lord Muhammad, the best of the people. And for his respected family and friends. I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, the King, the Most Holy, the Peaceful, and I bear witness that our lord and beloved Muhammad is His honored servant and messenger. And respect

As for what follows, I advise you and myself to fear Allah, because those who fear God have won. Fear Allah, do good deeds, stay away from evil, remember Allah on the appointed days, and give thanks to Allah, Who by His grace accomplishes good deeds. Allah SWT says: There are clear signs in it, the station of Ibrahim, and whoever enters it will be safe. And Allah has an obligation for humans to perform the pilgrimage to Baitullah, whoever is able to go to Him. And whoever disbelieves, then surely Allah is Most True in Knowledge.

Ma’asyiral Muslimin Rahimakumullah

On this noble occasion, the preacher invites all congregations to pay special attention to the preacher himself to always increase his devotion to Allah SWT by always trying to carry out His commands and stay away from His prohibitions.

Piety will strengthen our commitment to worship and perfect our Islam by fulfilling all the pillars of Islam in their entirety. Because Islam is built on five elements as stated in the hadith of the Prophet SAW narrated by Imam Bukhari and Muslim.

Islam is built on five principles: testifying that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is God’s messenger, establishing prayer, paying zakat, performing the pilgrimage home, and fasting during Ramadan. Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim

Meaning: “Islam is built on five things, namely testimony that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, establishing prayers, paying zakat, going on the Hajj, and fasting in the month of Ramadan” (HR Al-Bukhari and Muslim).

Ma’asyiral Muslimin Rahimakumullah

Among the five pillars of Islam that Muslims must carry out is the Hajj pilgrimage. This worship has a specific time and place because it must be carried out in the month of Dzulhijjah in the holy land of Mecca.

To be able to carry it out, you need strong intention and commitment because this worship requires time and special conditions, including being able to do it.

This means that when someone is able to carry it out, it is obligatory for him to perform Hajj. If he avoids his obligations when he is able to carry them out, he is sinning.

Allah SWT confirms this in His words:

And Allah has an obligation for humans to perform the pilgrimage to Baitullah, whoever is able to provide a way for that.

Meaning: “Performing the Hajj is a human obligation towards Allah, namely (for) people who are able to travel to Baitullah,” (QS Ali Imran 97).

So what are the conditions for being able to perform the Hajj? The scholars explained that someone who can be said to be capable of carrying out the Hajj includes being physically able and in a healthy physical and spiritual condition.

Also called capable is the existence of adequate transportation facilities to be able to go on the Hajj. In the context of Muslims in Indonesia, the existence of these means of transportation is defined as the ability to pay for the costs of transportation facilities and infrastructure including accommodation needed during the Hajj process.

This side of health and costs is often a common problem faced by Muslims in Indonesia.

It is not uncommon for this factor to dampen the enthusiasm of Muslims, especially those far from Makkah countries such as Indonesia, to go on the Hajj.

In addition, currently, the queues to go to Hajj continue to get longer and longer until some have to wait for their turn to go for decades.

So will these obstacles further dampen our enthusiasm for Hajj? Of course, the answer we have to answer is ‘no’.

We must continue to instill and cultivate the enthusiasm and intention to perform the Hajj as an effort to perfect our Islam.

Intention and enthusiasm should continue to be nurtured by continuing to try, trying to meet the requirements of ability and after that putting your trust in God because He is the Almighty who determines all things.

Intention is important, because many people are capable, both physically, in terms of opportunities and costs, but they have not yet moved their hearts to perform the Hajj.

As long as we are willing to try, God willing, Allah will provide an easy way. We must be optimistic that we will be able to perform Hajj because we believe that Allah is all-knowing and most merciful to His devout servants.

Taqwa becomes a way out of problems and opens the door to sustenance from unexpected directions. God said:

And whoever fears Allah, surely He will provide a way out for him and his sustenance from a place he did not expect. And whoever relies on Allah, Allah is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah’s command is great. God has ordained a destiny for everything.

Meaning: “Whoever fears Allah, surely He will open a way out for him. And give him sustenance from a direction he did not expect.

Ma’asyiral Muslimin Rahimakumullah

To foster the spirit of Hajj, we need to continue to remember the virtues of this worship. In a famous hadith, the Prophet saw the reward for people who perform the Hajj.

On the authority of Jabir radhiyallahu ‘anhu both, on the authority of the Prophet Muhammad SAW who said: A virtuous Hajj has no reward except heaven.

It means, “From the friend Jabir bin Abdillah ra, from Rasulullah SAW, he said, ‘Mabrur Hajj has no reward other than heaven.’ (HR Ahmad).

When they were in the holy land to worship, Allah also opened the door of forgiveness for the Hajj pilgrims as mentioned in the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW narrated by HR Ibnu Majah:

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of Rasulullah SAW, Al-Hajjaj and Al-Ammar said, “Messenger of Allah, if they call upon Him, He will grant it, and if they ask Him for forgiveness, He will forgive.” For them

This means, “From the friend Abu Hurairah ra, the Prophet Muhammad SAW said, ‘The Hajj and Umrah pilgrims are guests of Allah.

Of course, there are still many virtues of the Hajj pilgrimage written in the Al-Qur’an and the Prophet’s hadith as well as explanations from the ulama. It takes a lot of effort to achieve it through effort and belief.

Effort and resignation are like a pair of oars that we use to cross a river by boat.

If we only use one paddle on the right or left, the boat we are using will automatically spin around in the middle of the river.

However, if we use both of them well, the boat will be able to run optimally and will be in accordance with our direction and goals.

Likewise, when we have a strong principle or intention to make the Hajj, then of course we have to try in various ways, such as starting by registering ourselves to get a Hajj portion number and then we put our trust in Allah SWT. Allah says:

So when you are determined, trust God. Indeed, Allah loves those who put their trust in Him.

Meaning: “So when you have made a decision, put your trust in Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who put their trust in Him.” (QS: Ali Imran: 159)

Ma’asyiral Muslimin Rahimakumullah

May Allah always give us strength and be destined to be able to go on the pilgrimage to Baitullah. Hopefully Allah SWT will open the doors of sustenance as wide as possible, starting from opening the doors of intentions, abilities, health and opportunities so that we can enjoy worship which is the dream and desire of all Muslims.

Khatib believes, from the bottom of his heart, there is no Muslim in this world who does not want to perform Hajj. Everyone definitely has the desire to perfect their Islam by performing the Hajj.

This desire must not just disappear, but we must continue to cultivate it. Rest assured that Allah will make it easy.

Indeed, with difficulty there is ease. ۝5 Indeed, with difficulty there is ease. ۝6

Meaning: “So indeed with difficulty there is ease. Verily with difficulty there is ease,” (QS; Al-Insyira: 5-6)

I say this and ask Allah for forgiveness for me and you, so ask Him for forgiveness, because He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Sermon II

Thank God, that’s enough. I offer my prayers and greetings to our lord Muhammad, the Chosen One, and to his family and companions, loyal people. I testify that there is no god but Allah SWT, without partners, and I testify that our lord Muhammad is His servant and messenger.

As for the following, O Muslims, I advise you and myself to fear Allah, the Most High and the Greatest, and know that Allah has commanded you a great thing. He ordered you to bestow blessings and greetings on His noble Prophet, and said: Indeed, Allah and His angels bestow blessings on the Prophet. O you who believe, pray for him and grant him peace. Assalamualaikum O Allah, bless our lord Muhammad and the family of our lord Muhammad, as you prayed for our lord Ibrahim and the family of our lord Ibrahim, and bless our master Muhammad and the family of our lord Muhammad, as you blessed our master Ibrahim and the family of our lord Ibrahim, in the world, you are the most praised and the most noble. O Allah, forgive Muslim men and women, believing men and women, both living and dead. O Lord, protect us from suffering and its consequences. And epidemics, and obscenities, and abominations, and offenses, and various swords, and woes, and miseries, both real and hidden, of our country. This is in particular and from Muslim countries in general. Indeed, you have power over all things, servants of God. Indeed, Allah commands justice and kindness and giving to relatives. He forbade indecent acts, abominations, and violations. He advises you to remember it. So remember Allah Almighty and He will remember you, and remember Allah even greater.

So, that’s the reference text for a short Friday sermon with the theme of building the spirit of Hajj which you can use as a reference to deliver on May 29 2026. ***

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
